Will the direction of travel remain the same the entire time? And how many participants do you anticipate?

It's a one-mile circuit in the same direction. We expect over 100 participants this year.

I think he meant the number of participants was exciting, not a seemingly endless number of loops in the same direction for hours on end. I can't wait, either!! ;D Sarah

Not only does running in circles all night on a flat course that is 1/2 paved sound like the exact opposite of my kind of race, but it is sandwiched between DC Firetrails 50 and Javelina Jundred so it would be downright insane for me to attempt it. Hmm...now that I used the word "insane" it sounds kinda intriguing. jk. of course -Steve

I think that's how Beat ends up running so many things - the crazier it sounds, the more intriguing it is to him!!

Well, it's at the same 2 days as San Diego 100 - so bummer, no can do. However, if we could move it in the middle of the week ... ;D

Is there a maximum number of runners? I want to see if I survive RDL this weekend and Firetrails after that. I hate to take a spot and then not be able to run! (Learned my lesson the first time!)

We will cap it off at some point, but we're only up in the 40s right now with entrants and will take at least twice that.
Good luck in your first hundred this weekend, and hope to see you next month at Chrissy Field!!
