I'm jealous. It takes me 45 minutes of dodging tourists on Embarcadero to reach a decent trail.

I run in my velocitys on road if needed. They're just fine - don't worry about a little road. When I was actually transitioning from road to trail (I barely remember - thank god!) I liked the velocities on the road just as much as my road shoes.
And Steve: I need my shoes! "Man goennt sich ja sonst nichts". Just be glad I'm not wearing your size (or do I - ha!).
