Hi there,
My husband and I are thinking about coming out for Pirates Cove run event (we came out last year for the woodside run - what a great way to spend a wedding anniversary!). We have twin girls, age 5. While they're not up to the distance yet, we like to bring them to these things when we can.
Is it possible that there is anyone in the area who can watch a pair of 5 year olds while we run?
I'm thinking about the 20K, so I'd be back in, oh, 2.5 hrs or so...give or take a week...
Let me know if you know someone, or if it's possible to arrange such a thing for this.
thanks,
Jane

I could bring my wife and my 6 yr old boy and 4 yr old girl - and they can play while we run ;D That's also the reason why I can't get my wife to volunteer - she will be too busy to watch the kids Norbert

I have a friend who is going to come volunteer - and she says she will put my people to work volunteering. Perhaps your wife can do the same - and then all the short people can play together!

Actually, 5 years old is a little too young to help out at an event, but your kids and your friend are welcome to hang out and cheer for you.

Present and accounted for! And if there are other little kids and another non-participant to hang out with so much the better. - friend of jcudney
