Is anyone else looking forward to the upcoming Skyline Ridge event like me?. Last years event was my introduction to trail running (ok-jogging). The 14km course is challenging (especially for someone who runs flat road courses), the sights were incredible and the event was well organized. Many runners have a favorite course(s) to run. Well Skyline Ridge is mine. I look forward to seeing and and having a fun run with everyone at this PCTR event.
Take care and see you in a couple of weeks.
Ken

Agreed...I usually prefer to run among the trees, but this course proves that running ABOVE them provides some of the most spectacular views/vistas imaginable...I'm stepping away from the ultra distance that week as part of a training taper and will be running the 14K, then later volunteering at the aid station through the early afternoon.
Looking forward to fast run, and watching a terrific race play out in the 50K.

I too am definitely looking forward to this event. However, I will be on the opposite end of the spectrum from Will in both speed and distance. This race is 3 weeks before my next 100-miler so I will be doing the 50K plus some extra miles before and/or after the race. This will definitely not be one of my faster races (and even if it were I would be nowhere near Will)

[The short-term contract I've worked out with Steve (thr3ee) to pump my ego on various message boards was some of the best money I've ever really spent].

I know! Now if you could just get Thomas to take your picture to accompany Steve's posts of praise...

Ken I'm bummed that I'm already booked that day, especially since parts of the course come within 1/4 mile of where I live. Hopefully I can make it next year...
