Dang! I had to wait until this morning to check a couple of work committments but now I'm too late. Oh well, good luck to all of the runners!

I'll save you some bread... I... I... I don't know what to say. Again, the blatant favoritism shown some reg.... Oh, wait. I got bread last time. Whoops. My bad.

It's impossible you've already munched up your gold/purple-wrapped wonder bread. It's my turn next time. Possibly without ribbon.

For some reason Adam shows up on the reg. list, but I don't ... ? Just wanted to make sure you got my registration for the 50K - esp. since we just confirmed the babysitter for that day!
Thx, Jennifer

That's weird - I know that we got your registration, though, 'cause I commented to Wendell that you must have gotten a babysitter. I'll mention it to him, and I'm sure he'll add you soon.
See you both soon!

Actually PCTR should have an option to sign up for the race AND for a baby sitter! (group rate)

Actually PCTR should have an option to sign up for the race AND for a baby sitter! (group rate) I like that idea! One more service PCTR could provide ... maybe Aaron will feel enterprising enough to start a litte side business in entertaining the young 'uns while their parents are running. We pay very well! (Though your insurer may not love the idea.)

Understood. I'll just add that loop on my own, then. Maybe I'll be back in time to see you off, but probably not - looks like the last 50k finishers take less than 8h Hey Harry, since I am going to be doing the out-and-back from Saratoga Gap before and after the race, you could extend the 23K loop a little and use my car as an aid station. It is about 2 extra miles each way to the parking lot at the intersection of 35&9. I can leave a jug of water and some snacks in my jeep if you want.

thanks, but don't worry. I'll probably run at least part of the way back to your Jeep with you, depending on how I feel after the 50k. I'll leave my big Camelbak in my car for after the race. That one holds enough water and food to get me through.
btw I did a training run on the course today. Everything is runnable, just a few places where you have to tippy toe around mud, but I'm sure that will have dried out by Sat. Lots of twigs and bark on the trails to make the downhills more challenging. I moved a few big branches out of the way, nothing major though.

thanks, but don't worry. I'll probably run at least part of the way back to your Jeep with you, depending on how I feel after the 50k. Well, if you are planning to run a fast 50K, you may be able to get a nap in before I finish and head back out towards my car. With the extra miles and all, my goal is to take AT LEAST 6 hours during the race. You could probably finish an extra 14K loop before I finish and head out for my final 9 miles.
