Hey!
So I'm looking for advice on some good campsites near the finish area in the Lassen National Forest (or a nearby park) for the Bizz Johnson Trail Marathon. I think it winds up back near Susanville. (It also ends near a place called "Hobo Camp." Humina wha? Where'd they get that name!?)
Some friends and I want to turn this race into a little camping trip. I realize it won't be terribly warm overnight, but I guess we'll have to deal with that later. Its just more cost efficient (with us being budget minded travelers) to camp out, and what better place than a national forest!?
So, any tips on good campsites, or even nearby cheap motels or B&B's would be appreciated!
