Does anyone know if Conzelman Road will be open by the Headlands 100 next month? Just wondering if the loop will be altered, similar to Miwok was this year.

We are heading out to the Headlands 100/50/Marathon course at sunrise tomorrow to check things out, and will get in touch with Park personnel, too, to find out the status/estimated completion date.
We'll let you all know what we find out.

Don't know the ETA for completion of the Conzelman Road work, but we have a great 25 mile course that we're going to use for next weekend's Headlands 50 & Marathon. If the work's not done by Headlands Hundred weekend, we'll use this same course. It uses all the same aid stations as last year's course except for the one just off Conzelman Road.
We're finishing up the map and course description for the 50 and marathon courses today, and will post them as soon as we're done.

So just to confirm with the new course for the 100, you go over Wolf Ridge 8x (vs. 4x previously)? That just made a hard race a even harder.
