I'm flying across the country for this race, and it sure would be awesome to know what the course is going to be like before my flight takes off. My crew would also appreciate having a set of directions to aid stations so they can meet me along the way.

PCTR is SUPER excited to have an amazing course, great aid station personnel, Marin Headlands weather, Patagonia shirts, and washing machine loops for all of you! Headlands Hundred’s course this year is the best ever – we can’t run on the paved Conzelman Road, so we decided to have an aid station at the end of the Golden Gate Bridge instead. Not a bad consolation, we think - wait until you see it. We are already thinking about and working on ribbons, pasta, bacon, glow sticks, avocado, lanterns, quesadillas, jerky, blankets, pizza, homemade vegan soup, and more. If you have special food requests, we’re happy to try to satisfy them, but also know that we’ll have a great variety at the aid stations both day and night. We’ve attached the new course map, and will send crew aid station driving directions and other info later today. Drop bags will be at the start/finish and at Tennessee Valley. Looking forward to seeing you all in just over a week!! Attachments:

I'll request lots of boiled potatoes (which were only available at 3 of my 11 aid station stops at the 50). Overnight I'll definitely branch out into pizza, soup, etc., but potatoes are almost always welcome.

I've complained a lot so I will say this seems like a definite improvement so thanks for the modifications.
As in the past, it would be helpful to know what the distances are between aid stations. I think we could probably estimate it, but precise #s would be helpful.
On another note, my main request for food beyond the stadard fare is that there is plenty of soup at the aid stations between 50-100 miles.
Thanks...

Will there be plenty of Gu or Cliff Shot? There will be sufficient amount of Clif Bloks and Clif Shots at the aid stations.

The new course rocks!
I'll second the vote for plenty of potatoes/salt along with a request for the standard fare of watermelon.
I'm looking forward to seeing the mileage between a/s so I can do the crew/pacers planning.

The new course looks great and I am really excited to run on both familiar trails and the section out to the overlook is a super bonus!
I also request plenty of potatoes and salt and bannas at the aid stations.
On another note, does anyone know what the elevation changes will be?
Can't wait to see you there!!

Just wanted to give you a heads up that the course for this year's 100 is on the website but the aid station information is from last year's course.

I ran the new course last weekend. The run to Vista Point was a lot of fun and the views were amazing.

spoiler alert. it's super wet and boggy in the trees between alta trail and SCA trail .... I ran the new section last night and with all the fog it's like a rainforest for that 100 yard section in the trees....
