]We're getting a lot of entries coming in for Pirates Cove. This event will sell out and that there will be no run-day registration. If you're planning on running on the 24th in the Marin Headlands with us, we suggest that you sign up before too long. Thanks! Sarah (PCTR)

Hi Sarah, just curious - and this question might be of common interest: Why don't you show the "2007 Entrants" much earlier? It would be nice to peek in and look up the entrants, especially in events like "Headlands Hundred". Norbert, the running Austrian ;-)

With events like Headlands Hundred and the SF One Day, we will/do list the entrants well in advance as they come in. We'll put the entrants' names for HH up pretty soon.
For our 'regular' events, though, more than 50% of the runners sign up within the last week to 10 days. We typically post the list for the first time about 10 days out and update it several times as the majority of entries come in.
Thanks for asking, Norbert!

Thanks, Sarah. That's good information (didn't know that it fills up that late). Well, I have signed up for Pirates Cove early. For someone from Europe, it feels so unreal to run while seeing the city of SF and the GG Bridge almost all the time - this run should be mentioned in a travel guide book about California!! ;-) See you there! Thanks for signing up early, and we'll see you on the 24th!
I know what you mean - I didn't grow up in California, either, so it still amazes me nearly daily when I run here! The first time I ran in the Marin Headlands, I could hardly watch the trail 'cause I was so amazed with the views of the city, ocean, and bridge!
Have you run on Angel Island yet? I think that you can see 5 bridges from there - and the views of the city from there are SO cool!
Hey, and we'll be able to call you Norbert, the 50-mile-running Austrian later this year, huh?
See you soon!
