Dear Wendell and Sarah,
Things are finally settling down here in Montreal and I have a little bit of time to sit down and write you a proper thank-you. Of course, the Headlands Hundred is one of the most magnificant (and outrageous!) 100 milers ever conceived. And of course, your race organizarion was flawless, as usual. But what is not so matter-of-fact is the complete dedication you both have shown for so many years as you worked to secure runner access to some of the best and most beautiful trails in the world. Thanks again for giving us this amazing privilege.
I will send my report and copies of The Gazette's coverage (in case you didn't see it) under separate cover.
Thanks again for a beautiful race in a very beautiful place.
