Diablo date

Yo S&W,

How tentative is that April 12th Diablo date? That would be way sweet, as a close friend is hoping to run the Big Sur Marathon as her first marathon, and I've offered to share the experience with her. But Diablo was so awesome, so I hope not to have a serious dilemma on my hands...

I am going to attempt Diablo marathon. I say attempt because I have attempted the 50K twice and only have completed the 25, that d**n mountain HATES Me...hahaha it kills my knees. I am determained though...grrrrrrrrrr

The marathon & 50-mile courses are much prettier than the 25/50k, in my opinion. Lots more single-track, and better views, if you can believe that!
