Thanks Sarah for the pizza at the finish . I'll have it in mind to keep my legs moving. How are the gels at the aid stations? Last year, they ran out fast. I love real food but I'd like to try the water soluble and easily absorbed gels first in the run until I get sick of it (normally after 20 or so) Hopefully they won't be gone that fast. Otherwise I have to place drop bags. Chihping

If you need gels, you should carry them. We will have some gels and Bloks at the aid stations, but the focus will be on 'real food', just as in the past.
As we always say in our run-day instructions:
"If you would like to be sure that you have Clif product, SaltStick capsules, or any other specific item at the event, you should carry it with you."
Or, in this case, put it in your drop bags.
See you tomorrow!

It turned out the Clif Bloc Jelly Cube worked great!. It tasted good and saved the hassles of tearing the gel bag with sticky sweat fingers - save plastics! But I was so late that I got only one last slice of pizza. Need to be faster next time.
Thanks Wendell and Sarah for this run today!

We're glad that the Bloks worked so well for you, Chihping - we prefer them to Clif Shots or other gels, too.
Congratulations again on your finish - and on finishing in time to grab the last two pieces for Martin and yourself! So glad that you guys drove together and both had fine runs out there.
