Checking an online weather almanac, it was six degrees warmer than last year (in nearby Clayton, CA). Heh, I thought it was meaner! - Fred

Fred, I think the difference was that last year it got hot a lot later. We spend way more hours running in 80+ this year than last.
Thanks again for "shining a light on me" for that last 1/2 h!
btw: we only did 1/2 extra mile - seemed longer, didn't it?
