Thanks so much, Norbert! We're super excited about this one! ;D We've been trying for years to add a hundred miler to our schedule, and we honestly can't think of a prettier course - both during the day and at night - than this one.
Hope to see you out there!!

Today I was standing with my 5-year old son on Hawk Hill, just behind the GG Bridge where you can overlook some of the beautiful, vast Headlands including Rodeo Beach Lagoon. And I was thinking: Oh my lord, that's going to be in ONE trail run! Norbert

Sarah, How is registration looking for this event? I am seriously considering making it my first attempt at a100-miler, but am having a bit of "commitment anxiety" since it is still early in my training season and my first official race of the year isn't for a couple more weeks. However, I would hate to wait too long and have the event fill up. By the way, I am signed up for both Pirates Cove and Miwok, so the Hundred would make sort of a "Headlands Triple-Play" for the year :-). -Steve Ansell mountain-man-steve.blogspot.com/

Hi, Steve -
Thanks for asking - it should be a great first-hundred course, we think, without altitude, and with good weather and doable climb/descent.
The entries are coming in for it, but we don't expect it to see fill up in the next couple of months. We are 'saving' more than half the spots for hundred mile runners, so will be able to take entries from more 100-milers than 50-milers.
Keep an eye on this message board this spring, and we'll definitely let everyone know if it seems to be getting close to sold out.
