Thanks for putting on such a great run Wendell and Sarah. Id also like to thank all of the volunteers and other runners who helped to make this so wonderful. Especially those who helped with directions! Much appreciated. Tim

Adelyn I'll add thirds except I take exception to 'great course'. Of course, the course made the finish all the sweeter. Thx!

This was my first (but not last) 50 mile event. I had a blast, what a way to spend 12 hours. Much thanks to the volunteers and race directors! Also, thanks to all of the other runners for the encouragement and occasional help with directions (I only went off course once)!

Good job, all of you! Thanks for coming out to our favorite 50-mile course. It was really wonderful to host this event - and to hear how many of you marathoners and 50-milers had a good time out there.
Thanks for your continued support of us - it means a lot.

Also big thanks from me! For me, the modest 37-miler, it was an all-out and a great experience. I learned a lot about myself (how upset a stomach can be, how you still can do fast switch backs being dizzy, and so on ;-) I also found I'm very religious: Firstly swearing at Sarah and Wendell, but then praying a lot!! Being part of the ultra running community means a lot to me, and I enjoyed sitting next and talking to all the big names at the finish! I'm ready for my first 50 miler - after running Diablo I just feel I can do anything (No, Sarah - not the HH100 just yet! ;-) ) Thanks again and two thumbs up!! Norbert PS: Thomas, if you read this: Sarah and I think that the 37-miler had more elevation gain than the 50-miler! (But I think we'll just calculate again...)

Well, no matter WHAT the elevation gain on the 37 miler, Norbert, it was worth it for the bagels, no? Sarah
