Hope you don't mind, Barb, but I stuck the word 'Pacer' in the Subject line so that people who might be interested in pacing you know that you're looking for one.

what kind of distance are you looking for in a pacer? How fast of a runner are you?

Need about 30 miles with a pacer. I am not that fast--will try to finish in 30. That means 4 miles an hour for as long as I can, grinding down to 3 or so in the last phase. This is just an approximation as we don't really know this course. I ran Vermont in 27:55; Kettle Moraine in 29:20 (approx.). Barb

Hello,
I wanted to let you know I have never paced anyone and I also do not having any expierience running trails at night(i am prepping for my first 50 miler) so I feel maybe I should leave the pacing to someone with more night trail expierience in case you are running at night.

Thank you, ultragirl. I think that make sense, and I appreciate your response. Good luck on your first 50! I'm sure you'll love it.
