I was going to offer to force Norbert to run the second 50M with me, but if he eats 8 bowls of chili I don't know that I'd want to spend the entire night out on the trail with him

What's your headcount limit for the 100?

Good point Steve. Additional (jet) propulsion is an illegal way to speed up and can lead to disqualification! ;D ;D

We'll take 75 in the 50 mile and 100 in the 100 mile. And we'll keep updating the entrant lists so that people can see where we stand.

Norbert just wants to be sure that your aid station, regardless where it is, will have enough chili and bowls for him...oh, and lots of bread, too. Sarah

No, you're right, Jon - that is Norbert who wants bagels at the aid stations. He used to be happy with just bread...and I had forgetten that now not just any bread product will do!
Thank you for reminding me - I almost messed up again!

Oh well, everyone has his/her weaknesses. ;D Nice link about the history of bread: www.bodybuildingforyou.com/articles-submit/jeremy-likness/bread.htmAs for the aid stations, I would need to try pop tarts and stuff. My concern is that pop tarts are crumbling and that I'll choke on them! Also, why are payday bars better than others? Please advise. Trying to optmize my food intake... Later, Norbert

As for Paydays, each bar has 6 grams of protein and some salt, and we like the fact there's no chocolate to melt in hot weather. A great combination of salty and sweet!!

Well, payday is tomorrow (6/15) ;D ;D Since Sarah recommended to take in real food (and not just 700 gels over the course of 8 hours), I'm interested in all those things... Best regards and thanks Norbert
