Hi again, I wrote way back in May looking for a pacer for the Headlands Hundred, but so far no takers. I have run Angel Island once and Double Dipsea once, and that's about all I know of running in your neck of the woods. I love it, but I am pretty unfamiliar with it. Any chance that the race organizers (or others) might have clues as to how I might hook up with a pacer for at least the last 30? Thanks for any help you can give. Barbara in Montreal

To tell you the truth, I think most people are focused on running or pacing at Western States right now - it's less than two weeks away, and I think that many people are looking at that and not beyond. I imagine that you may get some responses once WS is over.

I could be talked into it........and I'm free that weekend but I don't have experience on the course. I'm willing to be prepared and do some research though.
I live on the other side of the bay so it's just a short drive.
Send me an email if you're interested and I'll share my credentials. You can decide if I'm worthy or not.

Thanks, Sarah. I totally understand that. Hope WS went well, although I gather there were some surprises!

Hi Jason, I'm sorry I took so long to answer. I was running my own 100K and then I left town to visit my mom. I am in Savannah right now and will be back in N.O. for all of nest week, home to Montreal on July 8. I'll send you an e-mail shortly.

Hi Barb,
Hope you felt the Karma from mile 85. Went out to keep you (virtual) company this morning and ran my best time since I started recording times. Hang in!!!

Barbara - congrats on your finish! It was great to run those 15 miles with you. Hope you and Alyson had a great time -- can't wait to read her article on your race!
