I am a newbie to trail running. So far, 3 out of four of my so cal xterra races have been postponed due to rain or even threat of rain. Is this also true for the PCTR events? Is this a California thing? If so, I need to take this show on the road!!!

If you look near the top of the page for this Saturday's Woodside run, you'll see it says Rain or Shine. I didn't realize the XTERRA people were such wimps. Current weather forecast for Saturday: "Rain likely with a few thunderstorms. High 58F. S winds shifting to WNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70%." |

It definitely rained, and the run was definitely on :-)
