What are the odds that this race happens in 2010? 50/50?
Headlands 50 and Marathon
Saturday
July 17, 2010 (Date Tentative)
7:00 a.m.
Does it face the same issues as Diablo?:
We regret that this event has been cancelled due to the State Park budget cuts.

I'm sure someone official will respond soon, but I think that since this race shares a lot of the trails with the Miwok 100K which is still going forth and the course was already altered last year to meet the park closing restrictions, that it is much more likely than Diablo to go forward.

When the Headlands 50 happened at the same time as the 100, pacers were only allowed on the 100. But there were pacers for the Diablo 50. So I'm curious if pacers will be allowed at the Headlands 50, and if so starting from which point.

Only from mile 49.9 to mile 50.0 and only to hand out flags, most likely Austrian.
