Showers are expected for the day before the run,Saturday, and the day of the race. Considering the run is through trails and will turn muddy, what are the chances of the run being rescheduled due to the showers? Or is this one run regardless of the amount of rain and mud?

Okay..Im confused...Ive signed up for some Xterra and Pacific Coast trail runs. Several times now, Xterras have been postponed because of rain, saying that it is So Cal State Parks making the decision. Isnt Malibu Creek "State" land??
