Do y'all know if PCTR still needs volunteers for this Sunday's race? My husband and I are considering it (provided we can get childcare for our 8 month old).
As a separate question, is anyone headed to the race from Berkeley/Albany/El Cerrito area who is willing to give a ride to 2 volunteers (provided we are needed of course)

Hi there,
I am MB, the author of the last post besides yours, re: wanting to run w/ my 13 year old student but not having registered. Well this is a lot of "ifs", but IF I can run, and IF they need you to volunteer, then perhaps my 12 year old daughter (who's not running) can help entertain your baby at the race, provided you guys are around. She has some experience babysitting, and is offering to volunteer that morning for the race, we just haven't been able a hold of the organizers to figure out a plan. Anyway, as I said, it's a lot of "ifs", but if we can help you help the organizers, that would be cool! Good luck...

That's kind to offer Mary Beth. Childcare is the least of our "ifs" (grandma lives in town). The "ifs" are really the ride there and whether or not we are even needed.

Actually, we've had lots of offers for help on Sunday. Thank you for your generous offer to come out and help, but I think we'll be fine on Sunday. Have a Happy Mother's Day!
