Hi...Im looking for a summer PCTR before the withdrawals get the best of me. Im looking at Sequoia, Montana de Oro and Pacifica. Any thoughts on best choice.. Thinking the Sequioas might be the coolest temperature-wise.

Pacifica varies a lot. My first 50K was there on a really hot day (June 2008). Last year the summer running was cooler than the winter running. But no matter the weather, there's more climbing than at Sequoia.
Sequoia is probably the easier of the two, and more shaded, but it still can get hard. Some of the early climbs are way harder the second time if you do the 50K, and the afternoon 20K loop (if you're doing the 50K) has a stretch long enough to run out of water, even with a hydration pack. Hint: There's a drinking fountain just off the course maybe 3/4's of the way through that section.
I've never done Montana de Oro, so I can't comment on that one.
In my case I'm planning to do Pacifica since it fits my schedule best. And I need to sign up before the price goes up on Saturday.
