Anyone familiar with the SF 1 Day loop? How much is dirt? How much is paved? I don't trust what I read on the PCTR description as they stated that the Lake Merritt Half Day course was 70% dirt and 30% asphalt. In reality it was more like 90% asphalt.

Two years ago the Lake Merritt course probably matched the description. Last year it was definitely mostly paved, and I gather it was even more so this year.
But I'm not aware of any work being done at Crissy Field to change that course (but I haven't seen it since last October). I would guess 30-40% paved (one of the two longer sides). But note the gravel on most of the unpaved sides -- gaiters are recommended to keep it out of your shoes.

Yes, still about 60% gravel and 40% asphalt / paved
