Hi,
I am getting organized for the Headlands 100 and have a question about aid for pacers. Am I correct in assuming that pacers cannot take food & drink from aid stations, and that they should therefore carry it themselves or leave it in drop bags at Rodeo Beach?

Pacers could use the aid stations at HH last year. I think that's pretty standard, though that's the only 100-miler I've done so far.

Hasn't been the case in the past, and it is a rare thing in my ultra experience that pacers are not allowed aid. At the least, it's a little risky to allow a runner on the course and to deny them the basics.

Pacers are no different then the racers they are welcome to anything the aid stations have to offer.

As a pacer I assume the $200 entry fee is all inclusive. A night on the trail including a continental dinner and breakfast for two, with free refills on the beverages.. ;D

As long as your dinner menu items are limited to soup, chili, pizza, jerky, Mike N Ikes, and M&Ms, you're set. ;D

Will there be GUs at aid stations or is this something we should expect to bring along?

There will be Clif product - Shots, Bloks, Bars - at the aid stations, but if this the food that you're relying on for your race, you should plan to either carry some/your own or have them in your drop bags.
