Thanks for the update, Steve. We're working on two sections this year - around Live Oak, where there's live POISON oak, and from the Finley Road aid station back on Oyster Point Trail to Live Oak. Again, there's typically p.o. in this section and it may be just generally overgrown, since we haven't used it as part of the course the last couple of years.

just wanted to confirm. however, I'd like to reserve the right to bail should I lose both my legs at C2M (one is ok, I can deal with that)

Like Harry, I'm not sure how my legs are after C2M, but I'll try to make it since it's the only chance for me to do it for AC.
I found it's about 11 miles from Dublin BART station to Finley Road, so please assign me to the Finley Road group. The mileage seems to be within my bike range. Hopefully I can do it without driving (aka carbon footprint), but I may get there around 8:30 since the earliest BART at Dublin is 7am.
Any tricky road condition to Finley Road is also appreciated.

Chihping, I don't know that it will work for you to bike to Finley Road, since we're getting dropped off there and working our way back to Rock City.
Can you get a ride from somewhere to Rock City with your bike? Then you could either ride down the mountain to BART when we're done or get a ride (with your bike) back to BART afterward.

I see. I misunderstood. I guess I have to drive (just make it simple) as the last resort. Thanks for letting me know.

Well, let's see - we have about 20 people, I think, who are planning to help. I would think that you could carpool, at least.

Sure, Jon - can you get to the WC BART station, too? Anytime between 7:30 and 8:00 works for me.

Cool! You and Chihping will be on the same train, then.
The weather forecast has improved - now it looks as if it'll be dry all day!

Hey Sarah & Marissa,
Thanks again for putting this together. I double-scrubbed in the shower after all that poison oak we chomped today. Something tells me I'm gonna be sooooo glad we did this when I cruise through this section with wide-open pores two weeks from now!
