I am thinking of running the 25k June 2nd - Mt. Daiblo. How is this run? Is it going to be pretty hot? Thanks! Was thinking of doing the 50k, but have to be back in Davis by 7 pm that evening....probably not enough time...

So, Morgan & I have decided to do the 50K. We are ready this time around and this time we WILL FINISH it no MATTER what.
We have been training hard and feel we are able to kick some Diablo ass out there.
The devil will NOT win this time!!!!!!
Wooo cant wait.

Just be sure to save something for the second trip up. Not only will it be hotter the second time, we usually send someone out to make the hills just a little steeper while you're at the start/finish aid station... See you all next month! Sarah

I'm not sure - some years it's been really close and events are selling out this year that haven't in the past.
Just keep checking this Message Board, though - we'll always notify you here if it looks as if it might sell out.

Sarah, I don't mind you guys making the hills steeper (love the hills!). I just don't like it when you go out and make those last 2 miles longer!!! -Steve Just be sure to save something for the second trip up. Steve, Kate, Sarah, Ultragirl, steeper, longer, hotter! What are you guys talking about?? Mt Diablo is always the same: Always 50k, always 100 degrees and always 15,000 feet elevation gain! Norbert PS: Sarah, how 'bout some spread cheese for the bagels this time ;D

Imported or domestic? Oh, wait...no one but Americans even MAKES spread cheese - I guess that answers that question!

Well, we can't turn on the A/C, but we'll take most of the humidity out of the air so it should be an improvement over Georgia heat... Sarah
